Only 14 per cent of people think selling now is a good idea Featured

The latest Halifax housing market confidence tracker has shown that only 14 per cent of Britons believe now is a good time to sell property.

That is in stark contrast to 50 per cent of people who think it would be a good time to buy over the next three months. Only 15 per cent were positive about buying or selling in the current climate.

The survey also shows more Brits expect house prices to rise as opposed to fall in the next year. One in three predict an increase in prices while 23 per cent expected a fall.
